For this baby shower, my only request was something feminine and girly, so I went with pink, swirls and script fonts! We printed digitally on my standard 120 lb. card stock, and did a coordinating insert card in a reverse design. My favorite part about this shower was that the baby was actually there! This group of ladies waited until a few weeks after the baby arrived to host their shower and were all able to meet little Elory for the first time.
A joint birthday party for two siblings with very close birthdays. I loved this idea! We tried to blend the personality of a sweet baby girl with her older brother's love of trucks. You only turn 1 and 3 once!
For this design we printed digitally on a metallic card stock. We actually did a double-sided print for the invite that included a photo of the two children on the back. For the envelopes, we went with a metallic orange that really popped in the mail!
Two darling cousins that turned one less than two months apart! I was so honored that their mommas asked me to design first birthday cards for their milestone day. How lucky are they to live in the same city and be so close in age?!
Baby boy's birthday had a "Hole in One" theme complete with argyle, navy and green. I created matching banners and food signs that his mom displayed beautifully (see photos below). What a party!
Baby girl's "Apple of Our Eye" party was so sweet with bubble-gum pink and green apple green, and included matching thank you notes.
When you have a bride and groom who are avid sailors, it makes it easy to decide how to decorate for their wedding weekend. I'm a total sucker for red, white and blue, so working on this nautical-themed bridal luncheon was so much fun for me! For this invitation set we printed front and back, created matching coasters for the event day, and sealed the envelopes with a custom-designed sailing flag sticker.
I'm so in love with white foil pressed invitations! White has become a very popular color to use in design and the only way to truly achieve it is with a foil press. It looks fantastic on any color card stock. For this custom invitation, white foil on kraft paper, string lights, and elegant script made for a beautiful rehearsal dinner invitation for a special couple. I was so happy with the way these turned out and blended with the insert card we printed in a reverse design.
Bridal showers are so much fun for everyone involved. I love seeing what the hostesses choose for a theme! On this occasion, the theme was a "kitchen shower" which shaped the design of the invitation, along with the bride's wheat-inspired wedding theme. The bride's favorite color, pink, and kitchen color, turquoise, were also a must to be included.
My favorite detail of the custom invitation design - the tiny rolling pin above the bride's name :)
One of my very first official custom invitations! This couples shower sounded like so much fun, I wish I could have been there! It featured a burger-serving food truck and kraft beers. The peach, pink and sea foam color-scheme were a lot of fun to work with.
Announcing the creation of Lauren Quinn Design, LLC!
I am so excited to share that I have officially started a custom invitation and design company! It has been my dream to start my own business that blends my love of everything paper, graphic design, and event planning. I sincerely hope that my passion for high quality paper and "making things pretty" will translate into beautiful custom designs for my clients that they are excited to show off to their friends and loved ones. I cannot wait to be a part of the many special moments that require a paper platform - weddings, baby showers, birthday parties, business events, personal notes, and more!
